Round Review – Round 7

I’ll let this Tweet do the talking. Safe to say I was not very happy with how this week went in terms of Fantasy, and my team (Hawthorn) also lost so there’s that too.

Regardless, we’ve got a round of footy to review, and the nominated Players of the Round are:

Aaron Naughton (WB)

Jeremy Cameron (GWS)

Scott Pendlebury (COLL)

Dayne Zorko (BRIS)

Pendlebury (126) again retains his spot in the Players of the Round, however this week I think I’m going to have to say Aaron Naughton had the best overall performance from the nominated players. A whopping 5.3 bag, 16 disposals, 14 incredible marks and 125 Fantasy points… Naughton is quickly developing into one of the next superstars of the competition!

I’m undoubtedly going to pick Pendlebury as the player most likely to carry their form into the next round, as he has been in some cracking form in the past few weeks. Keep an eye on him, he could be a good unique option for your midfield!

I also just want to note that I personally think the best player this round was Elliot Yeo, who scored 146 points from a goal, 28 disposals, 7 marks and 12 tackles in what can be described as a near perfect game for a midfielder. However, the AFL surprisingly overlooked him in the nominations!
