Introducing the Inside AFL Player Rating System.

It can be difficult for some users to find time to read through all the statistics for every player, every game, every team, and so my goal is to simplify this process. It is important to note that this rating system is completely subjective and is not representative of a player’s actual skill level.

Each player’s ranking is subject to change, and will usually be determined by their 3 or 5-Game Average (in terms of Fantasy score). There are six tiers (Superstar, Elite, Star, Pro, Rising Star, Prospect) that the image above depicts. Each has their own ‘badge’ which provides a players Inside AFL Tier, Rating, and their position according to AFL Fantasy. I’ll try to make a few ‘Player Cards’ showcasing players’ current Inside AFL Player Rating each week. Usually I’ll pick the best performers or players that are currently relevant.
